Recovery #494
Dennis Burlingame
Got a call from fellow Ring Finder Matty St Germain asking if I had time to go to Manasquan to look for an earring. I took the number of the girl, called and told her I'll be there in half hour. Got to the beach and met Ava and her brother Davif. Ava said they were in the water and when she shook her hair out the earring handed down from her grandmother came out of her ear and flew into the sand. She had the match but when I checked it with the detector, I only heard it if it was on end, so I kinda lost hope in finding it. I checked the area in from of her towels with no luck. She said it could of been off to the side alittle, so I turned and in the first sweep looking down I saw the earring laying on top of the sand. I guess sometime all you need is a good eye to recover something. Anyway Ava was glad to get her grandmother's earring back. A great happy ending.
