Recovery #515

Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from fellow member Matty St Germain asking if I could run to Ocean Grove for a lost wedding band. I called Miranda and told her id meet her in about 15 minutes. I got lucky and found a parking spot right on the street where they were on the beach and I walked down and they were waiting for me. Miranda explained that she and others were enjoying the day at the beach when her friend took off her keepsake wedding band handed down from her mother who had passed and placed it in the cup holder on the beach chair and forgot it was there. When they left the beach she remembered but it was to late, the ring was gone. They all went back down to search but had no luck. That when Mirande found us on google. I started to search and wasn't having much luck. Got to the middle of the area where they thought they were and I finally heard the signal tone I was waiting for and after 1 small scoop there was her ring in my scoop. They were so happy and greatful to get their ring back. It's alway a great feeling to give back such a cherish item.
