LOST GOLD WEDDING BAND OFF BOAT DOCK IN LONG BEACH ISLAND RECOVERED BY ED CROPSKI

I received a call from Tim asking if I could find his wedding ring in the bay off the end of a boat dock? He explained that he was playing with his son throwing him into the water when his ring slipped off sometime during. He stated that at low tide the water was between 4-5 ft deep and the bottom was a firm sand base. Arriving at the dock we went over the events and chose the area at the end of the dock and I entered the chest deep water with my White’s Beach Hunter id metal detector, scoop and floating sifter. After digging just a few trash items I received a nice signal and scooped up the sand dumping it into the sifter and started washing the sand/mud out and suddenly the bright gold ring appeared in the sifter! Everyone was watching from the dock above and seen it too and screamed with amazement He got it!!!! Another great recovery!
