I received a call from a guy asking for my help finding his gold ring he had lost while playing volleyball with friends a few days ago. I was able to meet with him a couple hours later at the park and he showed me the court he had been playing on. He had been on both sides of the net so I began my grid pattern search on one with my White’s V3i and 6 x 10″ coil which is perfect for these types of hunts. Having no luck on the first side I moved onto the other and about half way through I got a nice signal in the gold range. I scooped up some sand and there was his ring! He was watching with his family and when I held it up stating I found it they were very happy and grateful for my help thanking me and saying how much the ring had meant to him.
