I received a call from a guy asking if I could possibly find his gold wedding ring that he had lost the day before on the beach? He was throwing a ball with some others in the near knee deep water when he saw his wedding ring go flying from his finger as he threw the ball. Although he had searched for hours and the tide was coming in he had no luck finding it.
Although he could not meet me at the beach I told him I would go down today and search the area as the tide was going out and give him a call if I had any luck? I arrived at the beach area and began searching the area to the left of the lifeguard stand using a grid pattern back and forth as the water descended. After about an hour and a half I was down onto the area the water would have been at the time of the loss the day before. A few minutes later I got a nice gold signal from my metal detector, scooped up some sand in my scoop and there was the gold wedding band laying in the bottom of the scoop! I sent him a picture of the ring asking if it was his and he called seconds later with a big Yes! We agreed to meet the following weekend for the return. Another happy customer!
