LOST WEDDING RING WHILE WASHING DOG WESTFIELD,NJ FOUND BY NJ LOST RING FINDER!

I received a call from Andrew asking for my help to find his wedding ring that was lost in his backyard. Unfortunately his dog Gunner had gotten sprayed by a skunk and while bathing him in the yard his wedding ring had fallen off.

Arriving onsite and going over the events that lead up to the loss and meeting Gunner I was confident that if the ring was there I would find it as it was a nice short cut lawn and not too big of an area even though the loss had happened 2 weeks ago.

I setup my White’s V3i metal detector and Andrew showed me an area about halfway across the yard where the gate was that he felt was the stopping point at which he was chasing the dog around that day. I started searching area around the hose and most likely spot but no ring. Further into the a few signals but again no ring? I started to get worried as I approached the area of the gate and just as I passed the gate I got a good solid signal, pulled back some grass and there was Andrew's wedding! Andrew and his neighbor were amazed as I held up the ring saying I got it! He was very happy to have his ring back on his finger and Gunner was now out of the dog house lol! Another happy customer! FAMILY CREST RING LOST ON BEACH IN AVALON,NJ RECOVERED BY NJ LOST RING FINDER!

I received a call from a couple asking for my help to find a family crest ring that was lost on the beach earlier that day. The guy had taken it off to go swimming and put it in a handbag but somehow it had fallen out when they left. He explained that everyone in his family has the same ring bearing their family crest so it really meant a lot to him.

We arrived at the spot where they had been sitting on the beach and I marked off a 20 x 20 area and began to search the area with my White’s Beach Hunter ID metal detector. After a few coins and trash items I received a good solid gold signal and scooped up the sand and spotted his ring in my scoop! The couple was sitting nearby hoping the ring to be found and as I held it in the air I could see the relief on their faces. Another great day! Recovery #104

HOW TO FIND A LOST RING IN OAKLYN NJ, CALL DAVE MILSTED THE METAL DETECTING MAN

Karen emailed me earlier in the week to see if I would be able to search for a lost tungsten ring. Her fiance lost it while doing yard work a few weeks ago. I asked the usual questions, where? When? How? Any buried items? And so on…

We made arrangements for me to search Thursday after work. Of course, Mother Nature would play games and threaten with a Severe Weather Warning that afternoon. John was waiting for me. He showed me the 2 main areas of concern. He was working on removing a railing from the porch and then he was washing cars. My heart sank a little when he said while working on the porch he was throwing items into a large metal dumpster. It was pretty full with a lot of hazards. If John has my luck his ring is in the bottom of the dumpster. John also told me that the yard was cut at least once.

I started my search around the porch. John asked if he could watch. He wanted to know about my detector, a Minelab Equinox, and I showed him how my pinpointer also worked. There were a lot of signals, most of them 2+ inches deep. I didn’t bother looking at those, as I was trying to beat the storms.

After about 15 minutes I got a good tone, started to spread the zoysia grass apart and there was a nice looking black & gold ring. I pulled out my phone to take a picture & John was right there. He called me a “lifesaver” no pun intended. He was very happy! As we are both fully COVID vaccinated he gave me a big handshake. He said he would spread the word about my service.
