While at home for the weekend and looking for something to do with my wife, I received a call from a woman asking for my help finding her husbands wedding ring? She explained that earlier in the week they had gone to a local farm field to have family pictures taken among the sunflowers in the field. Unfortunately while picking their child up during different shots her husbands wedding ring had fallen off. The good thing is they had the pictures of his ring on and then showing it off so they knew it was there somewhere in the field.

So I asked my wife if she would like to come along to the sunflower field which was only a few miles from our home for the recovery? Of course she was looking to get out and that sounded great so we were on our way! Before you knew it we were there and met up with the woman and her daughter who had secured permission with the owners to search the area. Walking out to the area I was not feeling too good about it as it was thick tall sunflowers, very hot and buggy. Fortunately from the photos she knew the area they were in and some of the growth was knocked down and picked there. The woman began talking and I began my search it wasn’t long before I got a nice gold signal from my White’s V3i metal detector and as I moved some weeds I could see the ring!

Another successful recovery! Another happy customer!

While at work in Jersey City I received a call from a woman not too far away over in Westfield asking if I could possibly help find her husbands wedding ring that he had lost the previous weekend in her parents backyard while attending a party? Well since Westfield as basically on my way home down the turnpike I told her I could stop by later today after work. Arriving at the property and getting information as to where he thought it could been lost in the faily large yard I began my grid pattern search with my White’s V3i metal detector. Unfortunately the yard had numerous buried metal drainage grates and pipes which could easily mask the gold ring if I did swing the searchcoil over it. Fortunately I had decided to use a small coil which enabled me to still work the area by required careful listening for that one difference in signals from the detector. After about 45 minutes I heard what I was waiting for and as I looked down I could see the ring in the grass just waiting for me!

I left the ring there and called her out to show me the area again and asked if maybe right there was the area pointing to the ring in the grass. She began laughing with amazement and couldn’t wait to call her husband with the good news at work.Another happy customer!

I received a call from a guy asking if I could possibly find his gold wedding ring that he had lost the day before on the beach? He was throwing a ball with some others in the near knee deep water when he saw his wedding ring go flying from his finger as he threw the ball. Although he had searched for hours and the tide was coming in he had no luck finding it.

Although he could not meet me at the beach I told him I would go down today and search the area as the tide was going out and give him a call if I had any luck? I arrived at the beach area and began searching the area to the left of the lifeguard stand using a grid pattern back and forth as the water descended. After about an hour and a half I was down onto the area the water would have been at the time of the loss the day before. A few minutes later I got a nice gold signal from my metal detector, scooped up some sand in my scoop and there was the gold wedding band laying in the bottom of the scoop! I sent him a picture of the ring asking if it was his and he called seconds later with a big Yes! We agreed to meet the following weekend for the return. Another happy customer!
